Virginia C. Bacon

Virginia C. Bacon, 90, of Janesville, WI  passed away on arrival at St. Mary’s Janesville Hospital on Sunday, February 24, 2013. Virginia was born in Madison, WI on August 28, 1922, the daughter of Arthur and Gertrude Schultz. She married Beauford E. Bacon on February 26, 1971. She was employed for 24 years by Amphenol Borg Corporation. Virginia was a member of Trinity Free Lutheran Church. She had been a member of the Mercy Hospital Auxiliary, enjoyed traveling, going to rummage sales and flee markets, doing crossword puzzles and going out to eat.
Virginia is survived by her husband, Beauford, four children, Mary Ann Jones of Janesville, Philip (Doris) Femrite of Whitewater, Keith Femrite and Raymond Femrite both of Janesville, 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren and one brother, Richard (Beverly) Schultz of Madison, WI. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Dean Femrite, three brothers, Jerry, Arthur and Robert Schultz and one sister, June Schultz.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Trinity Free Lutheran Church, 2227 Holiday Drive, with Pastor Jon Benson officiating. Burial will follow in Milton Lawns Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Henke-Clarson Funeral Home, 1010 N. Wright Rd., Janesville.
